Commissioning & System Installation Technician

Your assignments
- You will assume the commissioning and service work at the customer site for new- and existing installations, either independently or in small teams, and meet their needs. You are the first point of contact onsite for our customers and represent our company. Maintaining the high level of operational reliability of our systems is important to you.
- Assumption of varied tasks in a young, dynamic, international and future-oriented high-technology robotics & automation startup.
- Engaging in your job with a high degree of independence and personal responsibility.
- Actively listen to customer requirements and translate them into new product features to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Completing the commissioning, testing and optimization of systems on-site as well as remotely.
- Advancement of our system bring-up procedures and testing, while being open & creative for solving newly encountered challenges.
Your profile
- Completed training as a mechatronics technician or equivalent training; Good mechanical understanding
- Knowledge of PLC/controls technology in the field of mechanical engineering, robotics & automation; prior experience with the Beckhoff TwinCAT environment is a plus.
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in a similar role within the automation industry
- Structured, well-organized and independent way of working. Willingness to travel in Europe at least 60% of the time.
- Tenacious, self-motivated and willing to always go the extra mile & open for frequent travel to customer sites.
- Fluent English and at least basic German skills; French is a plus.
