Your assignments
- Ensure reliable control of the hardware by the robot control system and adjacent subsystems such as the (Beckhoff) PLC state machine, Isochronic real-time C state machine, safety system, startup procedure and error handling.
- Contribute to architectural decisions for the ongoing industrialization of our technology (motors, safety, low-level software).
- You lead the commissioning, onsite testing and optimization of new robot installations at the customer site, acting as the first point of contact for our customers and represent our company. Ensuring a very high level of operational reliability of our systems is important to you.
- Advance system bring-up procedures to minimize installation time.
Your profile
- At least 3 years of demonstrated expertise in industrial automation.
- Solid industrial field bus experience, preferably Beckhoff TwinCAT.
- Prior experience commissioning robotic systems in industrial environments.
- Some experience with electrical cabinets, the C programming language and mechanics is a plus.
- A self-starter, you take ownership of your work and are proactive in solving problems, able to work with limited supervision and are driven by curiosity and a desire for learning.
- Tenacious, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile & Willingness to travel in Europe up to 20% of the time.
- Fluent English or French, German is a plus.
- Valid Swiss / EU working permit.
