Senior Software Engineer (m/f – 100%)

Your assignments
- Lead the industrialization of Isochronic’s software architecture, ensuring reliable operation, easy maintenance, portability, and expandability.
- Develop real-time software in C for the robot’s motion control.
- Develop the non-real-time robot control system backend in TypeScript, adjusting the application layer to different customer requirements.
- Contribute to automated testing of all systems.
- Mentor students & younger team members as necessary.
Your profile
- University degree in software engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of demonstrated expertise in industrial automation.
- Significant programming experience involving hierarchical state machines, ideally involving C and Typescript as well as robotics/motion control systems.
- Solid experience in software development; not only writing code but also designing architectures.
- Experience with real-time systems as well as the Beckhoff/TwinCAT programming environment are a plus.
- Experience with mechatronics is a plus.
- A self-starter, you take ownership of your work and are proactive in solving problems, able to work with limited supervision and are driven by curiosity and a desire for learning.
- Tenacious, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile & Willingness to travel in Europe up to 20% of the time.
- Fluent English or French, German is a plus.
- Valid Swiss / EU working permit
